We have just had the best weekend. The weather has been wonderful and we have been able to get out and enjoy every moment. On today's list was a visit to my favorite lead free park where I got to run and sniff and sniff and run....and you guessed it, run and sniff some more. It was totally pawsome. I was a bit disappointed there was no doggies there to say hello too, but there was also no killer ducks hiding in the grass either as the grass is all trampled down now! Here I am looking adoringly towards my dad and then running back when I noticed mom and dad had stopped walking.....I wasn't scared that I was by myself or anything because I am a BIG dog......but you know how they worry if they can't see you........so I came scurrying back so THEY wouldn't worry.
After that I helped dad fix his car.....it had got a bit of rust on it from all that icky salt stuff they put on the roads during winter. So we sanded it back, then put a rust prima on it and then repainted it. I supervised from a safe distance as dad said paint is not good for doggies. Then we took mom's (I mean MY) car to the car wash and got it washed, then dad I gave it a good coat of wax and made it all shiny. Bad mom cleaned all my snootles off the windows though and I had worked so hard to put them there. Dad says I am VERY good at sitting on the grass and supervising the work. Then we had to do some more work on dad's car when we found it had a leaky coolant hose. We went to auto place and got a new hose and then I supervised again while dad fixed that. I also went to visit Franklin - his mom hasn't been feeling to well so we went to check on her and now I am all tired out and ready for a nice long nap on my cold vent. Hope you great weekend too.
