Super Sunday!

It's been a super Sunday....Today my Mom celebrated her 67th birthday. We were to have a party for her here today but we have postponed it until next weekend when the temperatures are suppose to be better and the roads should be a little better to travel. Danny and I did go over today for a little while and enjoyed visiting and having lunch. Happy Birthday Mom LOVE Ya LoTs!!!!!

With all the snow days we have had this lil' boy has had lots of bottled up energy and has been itching to get outside and play.

He decided he wanted to use my camera and take a picture of me...so here I am his first photo!

I noticed a family of deer outside our door...don't they look nice with all the trees and snow.

Sloan loves the snow he loves throwing snowballs and just when you get a snowman made he smashes it and says "You can build another!"

I belong to a group on eBay AAPG An American Prim Gathering and recently we had a winter cheer exchange. Mary gifted me with this beautifully made Simplify Rug. The pattern was drawn by a fellow member Rebecca. I just love the rich colors and the wonderful wool yarn that she bound it with.

She also sent me many other gifts of cheer. Oh it is so much fun to get such wonderful treasures in the mail. Thank You Mary. She also sent Sloan a coloring book and crayons.

Well they are saying we will be getting another round of snow this week and the stores are in short supply when it comes to grocery shopping. I'm sure we won't starve by any means. It just seems odd to go in and see so many bare shelves.

This Tuesday I'm hoping the snow holds off long enough to go to Country Collections to meet with our rug hooking group. It's always nice to gather around the tables and see what everyone has been working on and visit!

Wishing you a warm and safe week.

Happy Trails....Ginger
