You'll Never Guess Where We Are!! Chanukah. AND Post 1-0-0. Yippee!!

The above photo is us in the front lobby of our hotel. Take a good look at the sign below. It says PETS STAY COMFORTABLE. This is where we are staying right now. The Red Lion Inn in Bellevue, Washington. Our mommy is very happy that there is such a nice hotel that welcomes us with open arms. She thinks the bed & pillows are extra comfy too. Thanks Red Lion.

This is Hootie telling Daddy that it's time to wake up. We have a long day ahead of us.

Here I am checking out Mom's purse. See the little blue bone to the right---that's for picking up poo when we go out for a walk. Cute, huh?
Here we are in our kennels. Not bad, 'cuz we have nice pillows in them and they are comfortable.
This is the thermometer that will go to the winning pooch. We have one just like it and think it's very cool because it has the temperature measured in degrees Fahrenheit AND in dogs!! Our folks purchased them at a wonderful store in Polson, Montana called Three Dog Down. Not many places have the consideration to measure the weather in dogs like they do. BOL. (This place has terrific down items...check it out!)

We couldn't tell you this before, but yesterday we picked Daddy up at the airport in Spokane and from there we drove across Washington State to Seattle!! Up until we picked Dad up we got to sit in the car seats, but after we had to stay in our kennels. It was a long trip (about 9 hours in all) but well worth it. We got to see our hooman sissy, Jessica and her husband, David! We were a birthday surprise for Jessica this morning. She had NO idea when her hubby took her out to breakfast at JoeBar that we would be there waiting for her. (Guess who forgot to bring her camera...oh mother.) Tonight the folks are going over to a big party for Jessica with the theme "Back In Black". Something to do with electricity, AC/DC. We get to stay at the hotel in our kennels. Oh goody.
Update: This pic is of Jessica changing the music at her party. She wears feathers in her hair!!

Now, for those of you of the Jewish faith we want to wish you a very happy 1st day of Chanukah. Last night was the first night to light a candle on the menorah, the 25th of Kislev on the Jewish calendar. It's a real festival of light!!

AND last but not least, this is our 100th post. When we get back to farrr North Idaho we will draw the winners of the 1-0-0 Give Away. You still have a chance to win if you leave a comment after this post. The polls don't close 'til Tuesday morning.

To wrap this all up, we want to wish our hooman sister, Jessica, a very Happy 29th Birthday! Mommy will take pics tonight and post them on her blog soon.

We love all you good buddies.

Smooches from pooches,

Baby Rocket Dog
