Little foggy outing!

Saturday afternoon mom and dad packed the van...roadtrip? Bikes, gear, lots of stuff! We all piled in and headed south...I kept hearing them say "fog?"..."maybe go to the lake?"..."check around the next corner"..."mabye it will clear"..."let's see how parking is..."
We cruised easily to Fort Baker, all the while big fingers of fog headed into the Bay. Parking was easy, an easy walk.... Had to greet a few folks along the way.
Mmmmm...there's the bridge...well, sort of. Fog flowing in fast. But everyone was hopeful! Will they, won't the?
Hey! Isn't that Fat Albert? Prelude to the Blue Angels? Lots of cheering going on!
I had a great spot with dad. But, wow! What a wind! My ears didn't want to flap down in those gusts!
I'll just stay low.....
A bit hazy looking towards downtown San Francisco. We saw a lot of sailboats, motorboats, pelicans.....mom looked for seals, but didn't see any...(or didn't want to get to close to the edge to look)
There was much anticipation on the bluff we were on, with lots of other folks snuggled under blankets, in lounge chairs, looking pretty snuggly.
Oh! Something in the distance? Birdies? Hmmmmmm... They disappeared.
Woah!!! Wow! Certainly was not expecting that ROAR out of no where! And, lots of cheers around me. And off they went.....
And, after that first pass-over, they got smaller and smaller....then were gone! Fog had cancelled the show!
Dad was sad, but hugged me for warmth and said "oh that fog!"
As we turned to go, there it was..... And later, the paper said ""San Francisco's famous - and fickle - fingers of fog snatched the mighty Blue Angels from the skies"" We were all sad to miss this spectacular skilled feat, but definitely understood SAFETY!!!!
Weren't able to go today, but we think the Blue Angels were able to do some low flying maneuvers. Still foggy. Met a few furry pals on my way out. We shared some secrets about stuff. Can't tell you what the secrets were....but, good stuff!
Bye bye bridge and foggy fog!
See ya again soon!
