Well....as it has been raining lots and lots here...and we have been doing mostly the same parkie or muddy backyard stuff....but someone always has that camera out when we are in the mountains.... Here are more winter pix. ...Enjoy.
Snow bib?
Sometimes we drive up Highway 50, Echo Summit area...this is looking at Lover's Leap, a popular climbing spot.
Winding down Highway 50 towards South Lake Tahoe.
Now on Luther Pass, Highway 89.
Passing through Hope Valley towards Carson Pass, Highway 88/89 junction, in route to Kirkwood. This is definitely the LONG WAY!
And, we made it! Time to play in the SNOW!

Camping lot...not too pretty, but convenient and often folks bring barbecues, put up pop-up tents, sometimes watch outdoor movies...or just stay cozy inside.

Masters Competition staging area. These folks are amazing to watch coming down the mountain....
In the photo below...this is what competitors are navigating! It's called The Cirque, and is off-limits to the general public, but gets opened for some of the more professional comps. Anyway, not for me, thank you.
I'll just stick to my snow play! With my snow bib, and snow on my tongue...
