Poor Isabella one of our green egg laying hens is in chicken rehab. She flew out of the free-run enclosure and the poodle kids found her. They don't mean to hurt, just play. But she lost all of her tail and back feathers and her back had some tooth marks. She is cleaned up and resting for a few days.
I'll try to put her back with the others but they may peck her bare back, have to seehow it goes and think about a plan "B'.
Answering the comment question about the feathered legs and feet- The black feathered are Cochin and white roos are Silkies, the others are a Dutch breed.
